is a very common one. Our line originates in Switzerland with Joseph
Christian born Abt. 1824. The lives of these
Christian ancestors and descendants continue with some interesting twists
and turns. The majority takes place in southwestern Illinois, particularly
the Polk Township, Carlinville, Illinois.

website. Joseph Christian was murdered in 1871 and his wife later
